This Privacy Policy explains how Scientari LLC (“Scientari,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit scientari.com, sign up for our newsletter, purchase our guides, or use the tools hosted on this site.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Scientari LLC, a California-organized limited liability company with its principal place of business in Encinitas, California. Questions about this policy can be directed to info@scientari.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to scientari.com and the sections and tools hosted on it, including the AIbio Tracker (scientari.com/aibio/). Some Scientari products operate on their own separate domains — for example, Repothesis and TrialReadiness — and have their own privacy policies; this policy does not replace those.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide. This includes the email address (and any name or preferences) you submit when signing up for our newsletter, and the name, email, and billing details you provide when you purchase a product.

Information collected automatically. When you access this site, our hosting provider records standard server log information including IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. This is used to monitor site performance and security and is retained according to our hosting provider’s standard practices.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5HZWBK5PXE), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how visitors use the site, including pages viewed, time on page, traffic sources, approximate geographic location (derived from IP address, not precise location), device type, and browser.

This information is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may use the data for the purposes set out in Google’s Privacy Policy. We use it solely to understand how the site is being used and to improve content and structure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share this information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by configuring your browser to block analytics cookies, or by using a browser that blocks third-party trackers.

4. Newsletter and email

If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send the updates you requested. We use Campaign Monitor to manage our email list and deliver these messages; your email address is stored there on our behalf. Signing up is your consent to receive these emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any message. We do not sell or share your email address, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Purchases

When you purchase a guide or other product, we collect your name, email, and billing details. Payments are processed by Stripe through our WooCommerce checkout. Scientari does not receive or store your full payment card number; Stripe handles card data in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable payment-security standards.

6. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to deliver our newsletter and the updates you request; to provide, operate, and improve our site and tools; to process purchases and deliver products; to respond to your questions; to understand how the site is used; to protect against fraud and security threats; and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Product-specific practices

The AIbio Tracker (scientari.com/aibio/) presents an editorially-curated dataset compiled from publicly available sources, including public filings, company press releases, and trade reporting. It contains information about companies, programs, transactions, and related public activity. It does not contain personal information about site visitors, and information you provide elsewhere on this site (such as a newsletter signup) is never added to the dataset.

Individual tools on this site may carry their own supplemental privacy notices describing what they collect and how it is processed. Where a tool has such a notice, it supplements this policy and, where more specific, takes precedence.

8. Cookies

This site uses analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, as described in Section 3, to understand how visitors use the site. Our checkout may also set functional cookies needed to operate the shopping cart and complete purchases. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share the information collected. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

9. How we share information

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us operate this site, and only as needed for them to provide their services: WP Engine (website hosting), Google LLC (analytics), Stripe (payment processing), and Campaign Monitor (newsletter delivery). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for the life of your newsletter subscription, for as long as required to support a purchase, or as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

11. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, and we rely on reputable, security-conscious service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected about you, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 1.

If you are an EEA or UK resident, you have rights under GDPR or UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. The legal bases for processing are consent (newsletter and, where required by local law, analytics cookies), contract (processing purchases), and legitimate interest (server logs and site security).

13. International data transfers

Scientari is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States. If you access this site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

14. Children’s privacy

This site and our products are intended for professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves or our practices change — for example, if we change our analytics practices or add new tools or features. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.

16. Contact us

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your information, contact us at info@scientari.com.
